### What is Monero?

In order to effectively learn about Monero, it is important to assess your current understanding of cryptocurrencies. Therefore, this document has been broken down into 3 primary sections that you can use to learn about Monero based on your current knowledge. These sections build on each other, and by the time you reach the end of the document, you will hopefully be a master of the ideas behind both Monero and cryptocurrencies in general. These sections are:
